This page explains how to delete your Scrolls account and what happens to your data.

How to Delete Your Account

You delete your Scrolls account in the app. This website cannot delete it, but this page explains how it works.

  1. Open the Scrolls app on your iPhone.
  2. Go to Settings > Delete account.
  3. Choose recoverable deletion or permanent deletion, then confirm.

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. If you subscribe through Apple, cancel first in your iPhone’s Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

Your Two Choices

Recoverable deletion: your account is hidden straight away. If you change your mind, sign in again within 30 days to recover it. After 30 days, a daily job deletes it permanently.

Permanent deletion: your account is deleted permanently straight away and cannot be recovered.

What Happens to Your Data

Friends and clubs: deleting your account removes your friendships and club memberships, and clubs you own are deleted. Your posts in other people’s clubs are removed or shown as from a deleted user. Friendships and clubs are not restored if you recover your account.

Purchase records: we keep records of your purchases for 6 years, for tax and accounting.
